Bug Fixes / Site Migration Update

The tech team is working on many of the issues you guys are reporting. They’re working like fiends!
People who had more than one gallery may have seen only one of their galleries imported initially. The guys are running a new import to solve this problem. You should see all your stuff shortly. The imports take a while!
I will update you when I know more about the results of their efforts.
There are also other tech issues that have come up, which they are working on as well.
Well, it ain’t pretty, but my galleries now appear to be restored! Now need to figure out how to best present them, get the pages in the right order, etc.
Thanks, Joey, know you guys didn’t intend it to play out this way, and I appreciate the work you are all putting in to get everything up and running. Everyone will need to figure out how the new ComicSpace architecture will fit their needs, so I will look forward to exploring the revised site.
My one (of five originally) galleries appears to have been replaced by one of the other ones. Maybe the four remaining are wedged in there somewhere, but I can’t seem to find any link in the interface to get into the WordPress editing part of the site anymore!
I can view my blog or add a new one, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to edit the current one (there was when I checked last week).
But even if all this stuff was magically sorted, I’m just not interested in having to use WordPress for what was for me, before, a simple mirror site for my comic.
A lot of cool features seem to have gone bye bye!! Like being able to search profiles based on state or city. This was really usefull for finding other comic creators in your own backyard!
I created a profile for our group years ago – it now seems to be like an individual profile. All the associated keywords are gone?! So I started over and did a simple GROUP page just so our group would be represented. Are all the avatar icons gone? I guess so. Have to say it “Why fix something if it isn’t broken?” I know you all provide this web presence for free – but boy, this “update” is really a strain on your regular users. I’m glad I only had minimal images uploaded to CS. I certainly am not inspired to create “deep” content for this site….
I mentioned in the other thread but should probably repeat here, accounts with the underscore in the user name, such as my chris_dee are not accessible at all. No urls exist, the old variety or the new one, and no log-in abilities, we’re just gone.
After repeated attempts to access my comicspace page using the new password that was sent from you guys, I’m massively disappointed with the new interface. I STILL CAN’T CONNECT WITH MY COMICSPACE PAGE!
If it’s at all possible, could you delete the page so I can at least reconnect and create a new one? Thank you.
I can’t find any of my several dozen galleries, or even anything resembling a gallery feature. How/where can I learn what I’m doing wrong?
It seems to have gone awfully quiet around here and the front page is almost completely made up of people spamming the site-wide posts.
Is anything going on behind the scenes?
I has been a month… is this really the way Comicspace is going to look from now on? If so, that’s really a shame.
