What a gyp (Hey, is that a nasty derogatory word termed to the gypsies? Those are my relatives, man. I guess it could be a direct defamation for the Gypper... maybe? naaaa...).

As a ComicSpace friend, may I ask you to help support the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art (www.moccany.org)? Become a member today! Thanks.

Not the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco, you numbskull! The Museum of Comic And Cartoon Art in New York City. Sheesh.

This is starting to look like a Three Stooges routine...

To which I can only say, "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk."
Al better not say, "Who's there?"

ahhhh... you mean the lessor of Comic Art Museums... Now I understand... sorta...

And as for "Stoogin'..." Brevity may be the soul of women's undergarments... But only Billy West understands the soul that is Larry.

... and I can't figure why my .gif Calvin's head won't explode on my avatar!!!

"lessor"!?! Well, it's precisely because MoCCA doesn't have the resources of the wonderful Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco that I'm trying my best to drum up support. Tell you what, Al. I'll join the Cartoon Art Museum if you join MoCCA! Deal?

Tell you what. Get me some regular work, and I'll join twice.

Wotta couple o' wiseguys.

I'm renewing my MoCCA and CBLDF memberships this afternoon.

(I hope this doesn't turn into one of those East Coast/West Coast rap shootouts.)

Jim--

My MoCCA renewal check is in the mail. Please don't break Al's kneecaps.

Thanks, Andrew! Al's kneecaps are now safe! Anyone else wanna join MoCCA and save other parts of Al's anatomy?

"JIM???" Break my kneecaps??? Be serious. He still has his GI JOE doll.

Al, you ignorant slut. If there's one thing every executive knows how to do, it's how to delegate. I've got people to break kneecaps for me. Now, if you'll forgive me, I'm gonna play with my Real American Heroes. Go, Joe!!

Listen, Dan... Why I oughta...

And as our posturing, swaggering, infantile, megalomaniacal but plutocratic National Hero likes to say: "Bring 'em On, baby." (I added the "baby" part.)

Happy New Year!

Thanks for the kind comments!

Thamks for the add, Al - one guy you certainly inked was Keith Giffen, and I'd also like to thank you for your work on The Legion Of Superheroes - that was one was the greatest, smartest, yet most under-rated runs of any mainstream comic. Cheers!

I kinda like/liked it. We had fun. It was sorta a hippy commune of weirdo writers (Keith, Tom, Mary, Moi)...

Great art to. Keith is tops!

He's the BEST!!! It's so cool he never got all megalomaniacal with all that fame... 'happens sometimes, y'know.

(So, pssst... did you notice there are hot chicks on your page?)

Al, thanks for the add! You've always been an inspriration to guys like me! We've met, like, ten years ago in San Diego, when I was just starting, and I was too nervous to talk shop, as I barely knew what I was doing at the time!
