I subbed in for Toren at his table, now probably everyone who went by thinks my name is Toren and I draw mummified crocodiles and drug dealing rats. |

Hi, how are you? Our studio recently put a new site up. pencily.com is a great source of inspiration for illustrators, animators and designers, so I hope you find it as useful as we do!
All the best,

Just wanted to say that I really dug meeting you guys at ECCC, and I'm glad I went ahead and picked up the "ComicSpace deal". I just sat down and read issues 1-4 straight thru, and while I wasn't quite sure what to expect going in, turns out I really enjoyed 'em! While you guys admitted that you're still figuring things out (what works and what doesn't), technical issues aside, I found myself really hooked on the story and wanting to read the next issues, which seems to be an effect a lot of major books don't have. :)
I guess, crits-wise, I'd say it was kinda odd how much the art style changed over the course of the series. But I'm guessing the books were put together over an extended period of time, which would go a long way in explaining that... Regardless, I'll definately be interested in seeing the progression of the book and be looking forward to the next issues (so... any idea when those might be coming?). |

Emerald City was awesome! Thank you to all those who came by and purchased the book. We had several people who purchased Issue #1-2 last year, return and purchase Issues #3-4. It was great to see so many friends and make some new ones. We had three people who purchased the book after meeting us on Comicspace so that was quite nice and yes they did receive the super awesome deal we promised. Went to a few parties and had a blast. I haven't been to many cons, but this one was a real class act. The group who run it really make you feel like they care about your experience and are very helpful. As a fan however, I wish their was a better place to do the seminars or panels and that there was a better variety. Hope to see more of you there next year. |

That's cool. I do recall the Random Pirate Gang. Sorry if we were offensive loudmouths at last years Emerald City. Can't wait to hit it up this year. We will be at table 130 in the Artis Alley Section. Hope to see you there for the debut of Issue #4! |

Whatup? Just got your friend’s request with the “sounds like friend’s to me” explanation attached. Actually, I’m pretty sure you guys were next to us in Artist’s Alley at last years Emerald City ComiCon. |

You got that right VanCity is pretty. Thanks for the kind words regarding the character design and clean lines. Rusty and Robin are a dynamite team on the art. Wait till you see issue #4 which is super-close to being sent to the printers. 97% done! |
