Have you heard of the Dallas Comic Con? There's one this weekend and they have one in October. I usually either attend or have a table out there. www.scifiexpo.com. It's cheaper and more quaint than Wizard World. Maybe we could even collab on a project sometime?

I've worked some with Scottie Ray Watson (aka Swat) who's character Talon is in the War of the Independents (and just got the most votes ever in the Small Press Idol). Dallas Comic Con is a nicer place to meet with fans and other creators. Well for collabs, I am working on a "Monster Squad" story for PostiveBrand.net (which are out of Dallas too) and I can't seem to get the right feel for it.

My favorite Wonder Woman writer is George Perez. I enjoyed Rucka's run, but could not stand Jiminez'. I am looking forward to Jodi Picoult's run. I am very excited to finally have a writer that seems dedicated. What do you think about her upcoming run?

Hi there! We’re starting up this year’s Small Press Idol…and wanted to invite you to the grand unveiling of this year’s Guidelines. I apologize for the all-in-one nature of this. At this time, individuals and teams have a little over a month to get things together and be ready to post their Round 1 entries. Round 1 will last till March 25th. It’s a solid window to get a project together and qualified for Round 2 past our judge panel. If you are interested in being a contestant, this is fair warning to get a project going!
