GlobalComicJam
This is the collected work of all the talented people over at www.globalcomicjam.com. The site has been going strong in the field of comic jamming since December 1st 2003... and now it has more than 200 artist members and about 750+ comicpages. For the full experience, head over there today! And remember, YOU are welcome to JOIN IN on the jamming!!! http://www.globalcomicjam.comCome on over and register (it's free and easy) and then sign up for your favorite strips in the Schedule section! ============================== June 24th 2008: We're back, baby!!!It's been a long and difficult delivery, but I'm proud to say that we have given birth to the greatest version of GCJ ever! Every little detail of the new layout has been scrutinized, and the usability has skyrocket to new dimensions, to ensure your experience on GCJ to be as pleasant and exciting as possible. But it's not just the wrapper that's new - so is the content! Come check out our "interactive comics" (what we like to call comicjams) ... read them, sign up and then draw the next page yourself!!! It's that easy - it's that cool! ============================== The fun of the site is that each strip is told in what could be referred to as the “campfire tradition”, where a story is started by one storyteller, and then passed on to other storytellers who add their own spin to develop and further evolve the story. Each page is created by a different artist, and thus overall provides a unique and sometimes unexpected reading experience. ============================== Editorial Team/Moderators: Kim Larsen (EIC and originator, from Denmark) Jost von Harlessem (webmaster, from Germany) Jason Vasquez (assitant editor, from USA) Joshua Robertson (media, from Canada) Keith Jeter (communications, from USA) Scott D.M. Simmons (promotions, from USA) ============================== YouTube videos promotional videos by our members: Jost von Harlessem Rob (aka N Crypt)Adam Holwerda

Drew, we miss you at GCJ! Scott here, and you were the reason I joined up over there, and now I am an editor/moderators there and one of the six of us using this ComicSpace identity. Loved the Fusion page, and Yabia has been a popular character! Did you see the image I posted in the Fun and Games section with a drawing of her by Jason Martin (of Super Real)? |
