I like the scratchy style of your black and white lineart. Sparky= Felix? Although there were a LOT of similarly design characters in the early 30's. 1 Reply [ Latest posted on May 3rd, 2007 3:17 PM ]

Yeah, he's often compared to Felix and sometimes the Animaniacs. He's definitely designed to have a 30's look, but he's the only half-angel, half-devil character with that look, as far as I know... |

thanks for adding me. :)
wow, it must have been quite a while back when we met at a con (was it spx or san diego?). i haven't had cards for my comics in YEARS! 1 Reply [ Latest posted on May 3rd, 2007 2:37 PM ]

I tend to think it was SPX, but I've been to San Diego a few times, so it's quite possible.
I think we need to do a Dingbat/Sparky crossover strip! |

Hey Steve - thanks for the reminder to put a link to my own page on my profile. :P (I don't know how else to post that you pointed out that there was no linky-link. . .as people can only see on side of the conversation on my profile. . .looks like everyone is talking to me (well, not everyone) and I'm just sitting there taking it all in. . .) :) 1 Reply [ Latest posted on May 3rd, 2007 2:28 PM ]

Lee drew a lovely full-color piece which will appear on the back cover of Sparky In Love. He's got a gallery for it on his page or you can see it in my favorite galleries. |

This fellow does some quite nice pieces around Biblical themes. I especially like the David and Goliath and Angel of Eden pieces. |
