One more question: Have you had any problems getting your pencil work to scan/print properly? I'm working on something new myself and have been considering doing it in pencil instead of the traditional inked look of most comics. I just like my pencils a lot better.

[ Posted by willymj on Aug 21st, 2008 3:03 AM ]... I scan at 300dpi, then adjust the brightness and contrast in photoshop and then save out as a jpg at 72dpi. However I draw some work in blue and the change the cyans and blues to black in photoshp... this gives a purer pencil line.

Hey there - I discovered you here on Comicspace but also checked out your blog and site. Really like your style, especially the Eekeemoo stuff. Do you work entirely in pencil? Do you really do each page in one sitting?

I sit down with my sketch book and draw it, then scan it and then post it. The whole process takes about five hours if I'm having a good day and a whole lot longer if I'm having a bad one. I try not to change or re-draw anything as I don't have much time. Kiboko my other project and my kids are always calling!
